A small studio with a Vietnamese name.
Maylua Studio is an independent software studio from Vietnam. We build a family of practical apps and two web platforms, used at home and around the world.
The name — Mây & Lụa
“Maylua” joins two Vietnamese words: Mây (cloud) and Lụa (silk). We build software the way silk is woven — light, strong, and made to last. Cloud for reach; silk for craft.
The mark — a bronze “m.”
Our mark is a small bronze “m.” inside one thin ring. Its colour and ring come from the Đông Sơn bronze drums, cast in Vietnam over two thousand years ago — an old craft, redrawn with restraint: one letter, one circle, nothing else added.
Independent, on purpose
We are a small independent team. That is a deliberate choice: it lets us keep most of our apps offline-first, without forced accounts, and fairly priced, and to answer our own support inbox. Our products serve users in Vietnam and globally through Google Play.

Design before code
Every product starts as screens that get reviewed and approved — code follows the design, not the other way round.

Offline-first engineering
Core features must survive airplane mode, permission denials and a killed process. If it only works online, it isn’t finished.

Honest pricing
One fair price, stated up front. Free tiers that are genuinely useful; no dark patterns, no surprise paywalls.

Real-device testing
Releases are gated on physical-device checks, because emulators don’t catch the bugs our users would.
